Job Details

This position is suitable for candidates with several years of experience in hospitality finance, resort operations, golf clubs, or similar industries where inventory management and cost analysis are essential.

Key Responsibilities

The Cost Controller will be responsible for monitoring operational expenses and maintaining accurate financial records across different departments. Daily responsibilities include preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, verifying inventory transactions, and ensuring that all costs are properly recorded.

Major responsibilities include:

• Monitor and control food, beverage, agronomy, and overall operational costs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports with detailed variance analysis.
• Verify inventory records, stock movements, and conduct monthly physical stock counts.
• Monitor agronomy-related expenses, including fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation materials, landscaping supplies, and golf course maintenance costs.
• Review recipe costing, menu pricing, and wastage reports to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate documentation for purchases, transfers, inventory adjustments, and cost allocations.
• Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Stores, Kitchen, Agronomy, Finance, and other operational departments.
• Maintain compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
• Support management by identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary expenses while maintaining operational quality.

The successful candidate will contribute significantly to improving financial performance by ensuring accurate cost monitoring across all operational areas.

Eligibility Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience as a Cost Controller.
